Joel Wenhardt is a musical force in the New York performing arts world.

Trained at the prestigious Juilliard School in Jazz Piano under the mentorship of Wynton Marsalis, he has since gone on to play with top tier artists and ensembles such as Paul Simon, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Veronica Swift, Caroline Shaw, Claire Chase, and Brooklyn Rider among others.
Beyond performing, Joel is a multi-faceted artist and collaborator. He is currently the Music Director at the McKittrick Hotel, home of Sleep No More, where he brings the best young jazz musicians of NYC together for 8 shows a week in the Manderley Bar. He has also become a primary pianist for the Vail Dance Festival, and accompanies dancers from The Juilliard School, NYC Ballet, ABT, Alvin Ailey, and more throughout the year.
Joel is currently working on his first album, “What Ever Happened to Romance” which will be released in late 2024, following a west coast tour this spring.
